Background
I have been in private practice since January of 2013.
I graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2003 and four years later from Boston University Psychiatric Residency Program. In that program, I treated many types of patients, including college students, Veterans, those dealing with substance abuse, and those with post traumatic stress disorder.
After my Psychiatry Residency, I worked for several years at The Northampton VA Medical Center. While there, I treated patients in the outpatient mental health clinics in Greenfield and in Northampton; I served as Medical Director of an open-access Mental Health Clinic and worked closely with the Primary Care Clinicians; and I was then promoted to Medical Director of The Inpatient Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Program.
Before shifting to private practice, I was Medical Director of The Uniformed Service Program (for Police, Fire, EMT, Military, Veterans, and Corrections Officers) at The Brattleboro Retreat, Brattleboro, VT.
